Last week, I had dinner with two women – entrepreneurs, small business owners, young women. Both were women at various stages of their professional careers with the interest of coming together and supporting each other. It was wonderful being part of this trio and feeling supported, encouraged but most of all determined.
We 3 were determined. We had a plan. We had a vision, but most of all, we had dreams. We still do and it is those dreams which we are working on fulfilling into becoming realities.

It’s not often that I have felt the support of family or friends. Frankly, there are not many who personally support me and encourage me to go out there and do what I need to do, to get where I want to be. It’s hard – but it’s life. My attitude has always been and will continue to be that I have a purpose, and whether or not my family and friends support or believe in my purpose – will not deter me.
So, being in the company of fellow women who encourage, motivate but most of all, support my dream and vision – that was a blessing. I haven’t had that kind of support and by them reaching out to me, I appreciated it wholeheartedly.
I became reinvigorated. My ideas began recirculating. My blood was pumped and I entered attack mode.
Frankly, I have enough friends whom I personally believe that I have supported and been there for over the years, who could have taken the time out and provide some feedback on my blog. But, again, lessons of life – not everyone who’s a friend wishes you well. Sometimes it feels like instead of support, people try to discourage you, compete with you and or not support your attempts at exploring your passion. But this can, should and must NEVER be a deterrent to me achieving my dreams or going after them.
But that is for a different day!!!.
These past few days has been about perseverance, developing new ideas and the execution of old ones. It was about giving back, using my increased adrenaline to revitalize myself.
I became encouraged, I became bold and I did what I needed to do. And I was successful.
So, in the interest of supporting and giving back, empowering and assisting other women, this post is about this weekend’s fashion accessories all compliments of http://www.trendycolly.ca
