“You can float through a life created by circumstances, missing day after day, hour after hour. Or, you can fight for what you believe in and write the great story of your life. I hope you will make the right choice.”
I read this, with teary pride filled eyes. I am saddened that he has gotten to realize that so late; yet he is only 24.
Life and death are both inevitable. I believe that to die, you have to have been alive. But to be alive, you have to live.
I also believe very much in the idea that we are each to live a life that when death comes; we would have lived beyond our expectations, beyond our wildest dreams.
It’s my intention to live a life that most people dream of, that most people aspire to have, that most people are fearful to reach out and grasp.
I’m going to live that life that when death comes, I can say ” I didn’t just exist; I lived!”
Yea, I’ll be living a mark in this world, one that my kids will look back on and say “yes, that was my mom!”
So, what will you say when death comes?
And while you search for these answers I’ll end with these words: don’t let your fears rule you; be the ruler of your fears!
